Taylor Swift, a 21-year-old junior at the University of Central Florida, has threatened Jack Sweeney with legal action. Sweeney became well-known for using his social media accounts to track the movements of celebrities’ private jets, including Swift’s.
Swift’s legal team demanded an immediate end to his actions, accusing him of engaging in “stalking and harassing behavior.” Swift and her legal representatives contend that Sweeney’s monitoring seriously jeopardizes Swift’s safety and wellbeing in addition to invading her privacy.
Swift and her family were in great emotional and physical hardship, and there was a great deal of worry for Swift’s personal safety, according to the legal notice that Sweeney received. The case is seen by Swift’s legal team as a “life-or-death matter.”

Written by Katie Wright Morrone of Venable law firm, the emphatic cease and desist letter charged Sweeney with approaching the situation as if it were a “game.”
“While this may be a game to you, or an avenue that you hope will earn you wealth or fame, it is a life-or-death matter for our Client,” Morrone elaborated.
