We’re keeping Howie in our prayers and thoughts.

Howie Mandel talked about his experiences dealing with mental illness on “The Kelly Clarkson Show.” He acknowledged that, despite his occasionally upbeat exterior, he is not always content when he is at home, particularly when he is by himself.

He admitted that rather than having a positive impact on his mental health, it had a negative one.

Kelly Clarkson was shocked to learn the news. Mandel then acknowledged, “I’m heavily medicated.”

The 65-year-old admitted to PEOPLE that he has battled OCD and anxiety for practically his entire life, starting when he was a little child. Because he didn’t have any peers to make friends with when he was younger, people called him “strange.” He now says he gets paid to appear strange. The judge of America’s Got Talent asserts that life is difficult every day.

“I’m living in a nightmare,” he yelled. I make an effort to center myself. My family is lovely, and I love what I do. I can, however, also experience periods of intense depression that I never fully recover from.

Mandel, who has three children—Alex, 31, Riley, 28, and Jackie, 36—and has been married to Terry since 1980, claims that the COVID-19 outbreak caused him much anguish.

He claimed that every minute he was awake, the thought “we could die” crossed his mind. However, the knowledge that everyone around me was alright would comfort me. It is wise to cling to it. But during the pandemic, everything on Earth was in bad shape. It was pure torment, too.
