Esteemed television judge, Frank Caprio, shares a heartfelt video unveiling his battle with cancer.

Frank Caprio, the cherished judge and prominent figure on Caught in Providence, conveyed a poignant message through a video posted on his social media on December 6, revealing his recent cancer diagnosis.

In the video, the 87-year-old, who has recently retired, touched upon his birthday briefly before sharing the challenging news that he has been “diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, a particularly insidious form of the disease.”

“This birthday is unlike any I’ve experienced before. Recently, I wasn’t feeling well and after a medical examination, the report wasn’t positive,” began the television personality in the video.

He went on to share that he is currently undergoing treatment in Rhode Island and Massachusetts, expressing hope that the medical professionals treating him are guided by God’s wisdom. “I know this is a long road, and I’m fully prepared to fight as hard as I can,” he continued.

In a heartfelt plea, Caprio requested prayers from his followers and fans as he faces this challenging journey.

In 1985, Caprio assumed the role of Providence Municipal Court Judge, with his courtroom proceedings broadcasted on local television and public access in the Providence, Rhode Island area. Clips from his family-produced show gained widespread attention on YouTube, eventually leading to the syndication of “Caught in Providence.”

Caprio retired from his esteemed position in January 2023.

As Judge Frank Caprio faces a challenging cancer diagnosis, particularly during the holiday season, let us collectively send our prayers and positive thoughts his way. Dealing with such news is never easy, and our support can be a source of strength during these trying times.
